Editing [1]

We started to import all our videos into the hard drive so all our work would be safe and wouldn't be deleted. To make it really easy, we decided to put the video files into separate folders so we would know which footage to choose and we renamed the main footage we needed. It took about 10 minutes to transfer all our videos across. Whilst it was getting transferred we started to blog about editing and how bad the weather has been as we wanted to film during the day. We decided to edit because we did                                                                                       not want to lose much time as we have little time left                                                                                     to the deadline.

We started to edit, we decided we would take turns to edit. Since today some members was not in, Alan and Doanne started to edit. To start up, we imported all the main videos onto Final Cut Pro. we realised it would be much easier if we imported all the videos first as it takes really long to render. Since Alan has a experience of editing, he suggested that we started to import all of the videos and sync them all.

We started to sync all of our footage that we had with the song "Olly Murs". Most of our footage is now synced with the lips and song. We had a few problems such as rendering took really long and it was really hard to hear our actor as he wasn't really singing the song but lip syncing. At the end we got all the syncing correct but still need more footage which we are going to do during the open day. We saved the project several times as we did not want to lose our work which took us really long to sync.
