Research: Filters
Today I decided to do some independent research on Filters, as we were certain to be using them in our music video. Some shots were too bright due to the sunshine, and some were the complete opposite due to the cloudy weather. Filters also can make our shots look better and more professional if used correctly. I had screenshotted a couple of filters available for use and as a group, we will decide which one looks best on our clips, after the rough cut. I also noticed Brightness and Colour Correction fell under 'Video Effects' in Final Cut Pro which is also another feature we hope to utilize to make our pop video look more attractive. Filters and tweaks such as with the Brightness are easy ways to turn clips that may look dull at first, into a very eye-catching and lively scene. Below is a quick update on Filters.
Here are a couple of filters I came across through independent research at home. These are pre-installed into Final Cut Pro and we can test them on our shots at College during editing.
