This music video has influenced the idea of changing the saturation, or color to create an atmosphere of either warmth, or coldness. It is portrayed in this music video, where there is a split screen between dark and light, which has two different atmospheres of loneliness and love which is created in the color of the video. This could be an inspiration to our music video, we may use a warmer tone for a fun music video by Olly Murs, conveying the happiness of the artist and the actress in our planned music video.
The skate park used in this music video, has also inspired us to adapt to the idea of having the actress skating in a park, and teaching the artist how to skate. This relationship will be created based on the interaction between two people, being fun and lovey. Thus, the fast pace moving camera where Olly is singing on the pavement, could influence in how we adapt our camerawork towards how Olly did his. 'Hey You Beautiful' is quite a fast pace song, and all the camerawork helps create an enjoyable and flirtatious atmosphere by the artist of out music video. Also, we might adopt the long shots of scenery to create a natural and fresh atmosphere.
The costume was mostly inspired by One Direction, through the braces one of the band members were wearing in this music video. Thus the hipster-looking band members have a feel-good presence about them, due to what they're wearing. Teenage girls like how they are dressed, so therefore adapting Leon Cross's costume to theirs, will enhance the consumer base, but not exactly copying their costumes.
