Olly Murs - Hey You Beautiful - Our Take
This song currently does not have a music video so our own video will be completely original. We have decided, after looking at the lyrics that the structure would be best as Disjuncture & Illustration. The idea for the music video will be a female being 'chased' by a male actor, here being the artist. The lyrics will at times illustrate what is going on, such as 'knock me down', we are planning to have Leon Cross fall down and other times the artist will just be serenading the girl and following her, attempting to gain her attention. I have realized that the song lyrics in its self portray a sort of 'love-chase' so have begun drawing up ideas on how to visually put this forward to the audience. This is also a very upbeat track, which is one of the main reasons I voted to selecting it. When coming to editing I think our music video will have the opportunity to gain a lot of audience attention through many cuts and bright colours which would be expected from such a up beat song.
